Dive Deeper. Design with the Flows of Life. Regenerate.
The Center for Life and Regeneration invites you to unleash the force of life itself. Turn challenges and fear into opportunities for thriving futures. Through systemic exploration and embodied practice, you’ll discover how to root your work in life itself—unlocking stronger partnerships, more creative teams, and communities that flourish over time. We call it the regenerative ecosystem approach.
Our Philosophy
Regeneration is more than sustainability — it’s a practice of living systems. Our Regenerative Modalities series shares the principles that help people, places, and organisations thrive.
Our Impact
Ideas matter when they become tools. Our Ecosystem Engagement Toolkit turns regeneration into action — helping teams map relations, build trust, and create real change.
About Us

Oleg
Founder & Director
I'm Oleg, founder of the Center for Life and Regeneration. For over two decades, I've been exploring the intersection of human potential and ecological wisdom, working with organizations and communities to discover regenerative pathways forward.
My Vision
I envision a world where human activity enhances rather than depletes the web of life. Through the Center, I support those ready to move beyond sustainability toward genuine regeneration — not as a destination, but as a way of being in relationship with the living world.
Tools for Participating in Living Systems
Regeneration doesn't begin with a template. It begins with attention — to the place we inhabit, to the patterns that hold life, to the potential of emergence. Our toolbox is for those who want to participate in regenerative transformation by immersing themselves in the systems they already live in. We offer tools that vitalize relationships, embrace proximity, and support dialogical flow — across the human and more-than-human.

From Stakeholder Mapping to Regenerative Engagement
A free, foundational tool to map relationships, flows of influence, and creative forces in any context — municipal, cultural, entrepreneurial.

Regenerative Modalities Series
Twelve ways of sensing and practicing regeneration — published bi-weekly as short, accessible essays with micro-practices and prompts. These aren't fixed traits to master, but ways of becoming-with the world.

Regenerative Systems Thinking in Practice
Short self-paced course exploring practical applications of regenerative thinking across various contexts and scales.

Who We Work With
We support municipalities, international organisations, cultural institutions, sustainable entrepreneurs and SME's, educators, and community changemakers who are ready to go beyond surface change and grow lasting impact with the world.
Green Startups/SMEs
For 20 years, we've been supporting project holders, startups, and innovators to root their vision in regenerative principles, helping them understand the profound connections between human innovation and environmental restoration.
"Our Agrifood tech incubation team was lucky to benefit from the Centre for Life & Regeneration’s workshop in April 2025. Oleg’s facilitation was sensitive, fertile and agile, providing an excellent opportunity for us to step back, appreciate, and question our collaborative dynamics. The methodology provided CitAg with a valuable tool and inspiration to re-enchant collaboration practices in our ecosystem."
— Program Manager, Cité de l'Agriculture, Marseille

Public Sector
Our partnerships with municipalities, EU institutions, and governmental agencies flourish through workshops and action-learning experiences that bring regenerative concepts into policy, urban planning, and placemaking.
""Huge thanks to Oleg Koefoed from Center for Life and Regeneration for contributing the Stakeholder mapping & Regenerative Ecosystem Engagement tool to theNew European Bauhaus workshop series. The co-creation process left us inspired and full of ideas.""
— Program Manager, European Institute for Innovation and Technology

Educational Partners
Educational institutions benefit from regenerative learning methods, developing curricula and immersive experiences that honor the sacred interconnectedness of all life through site-sensitive and regenerative approaches.
"Thank you for the workshop which made me so much more aware of the power of life and places and made me rethink my ideas and intentions from a regenerative perspective. The fact that the work didn't have an open-ended aim was truly liberating!"
— Student of Sustainable Design at Aalborg University after a place-practice workshop

Honoring the sacred interconnectedness of all life, we cultivate reverence and responsibility in every regenerative practice and partnership.
Hands-On Practice
Through workshops, action-learning, and collaborative labs, we translate regenerative concepts into tangible processes and measurable impact, working.
Knowledge-Based Exploration
We engage in exploring the unknown, using evidence-based methods to understand and develop regenerative capabilities through continuous learning, so we may all thrive.

The Future Is Here - What is your Next Move?
Regeneration isn't a box of solutions or a checklist to satisfy. It's a way (or twelve ways) we notice, join, and deepen. Ways we pay attention and enter into right relationships.
If you feel the deeper wave and the current moving through your work, your place, your institution, let's talk.
